Even though Abrams didn’t name names – he wanted to, but he didn’t, as to from whom’s room the leaked Star Wars script was taken, the veil of mystery is lifted. John Boyega leaked the Rise of Skywalker Script
This morning, Boyega appeared on Good Morning America and told how he left the script behind while changing apartments.
“It was actually from my apartment! I was moving apartments, and I left the script under my bed. I was like, you know what, I’m gonna leave it under my bed, when I wake up in the morning, I’ll take it and then move. But then my boys came over and, you know, we started partying a little bit, and the script, it just stayed there.”
The funny thing is that Boyega, who plays Finn in the blasphemous sequels, left the script under the bed for weeks before it was found.
“This cleaner comes in, finds the script, and then puts it on eBay for like, £65! That’s roughly $84, American readers. Talk about undervaluing!”
No, dude. We are of the opinion that the cleaner probably has an astute eye when it comes to seeing crap for what it is. The person probably thought it highly unlikely that anyone would pay more.
“I actually thought this is a great opportunity for the fans to read the movie before they see it. Maybe I’m onto something,” joked Boyega.
Yes, you are Finn. I would be curious as to how that experiment would impact the movie’s box office performance.
